ProphecAI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how data is processed when you use our iOS application.

ProphecAI is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal data. Your conversations remain completely private and under your control.

All data is either stored locally on your device, synced through your personal Apple iCloud account, or processed temporarily by third-party AI services. We never see, store, or access your information.

Data We Do NOT Collect

ProphecAI does not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your conversation history or questions
• Your religious denomination or beliefs
• Your location or device identifiers
• Any personally identifiable information

We operate as a "pass-through" service - data flows through infrastructure we don't control and can't access.

How Your Data is Processed

Local Device Storage (Not Accessible to Developer)

The following data is stored only on your device. We cannot see or access it:

• Preferences: Age group (child/teen/adult) and Christian denomination selection
• Conversation History: Your questions and AI responses remain on your device
• Usage Counter: Daily question count for usage limits

Apple Infrastructure (Not Accessible to Developer)

Some data syncs through Apple's infrastructure, which we don't control:

• iCloud Sync: Subscription status and usage counter sync across your devices via your personal iCloud account
• In-App Purchases: Subscription status managed entirely by Apple's StoreKit
• Crash Reports: Anonymous crash data sent to Apple (if enabled in iOS settings)

Third-Party Processing (Not Stored by Developer)

When you ask a question, the following data is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing:

• Your Question: The text of your question about faith or Scripture
• Age Group: Your selected age mode (child, teen, or adult) to provide age-appropriate responses
• Denomination: Your selected Christian denomination to tailor responses to your faith tradition
• Recent Conversation Context: Your last few questions and answers for conversation continuity

Important: This data is processed temporarily by Google to generate responses. We do not store, access, or retain any of this information. Google's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.

Sensitive Information - Religious Content

ProphecAI processes religious content and personal preferences as part of its core functionality. We handle this sensitive information with the utmost respect for your privacy:

Data Sent to AI Service

To provide personalized biblical guidance, we send the following to Google's Gemini API:

• Denomination: Your selected Christian denomination (e.g., Catholic, Baptist, Methodist) to tailor responses to your faith tradition
• Age Group: Your selected age mode (child, teen, or adult) for age-appropriate language and content
• Questions: Your questions about faith and Scripture
• Conversation Context: Recent messages for continuity

How This Data is Protected

• Data is sent securely over HTTPS encryption
• No user accounts or identifying information is included
• We do not store, access, or retain any of this data
• Google processes this data temporarily to generate responses
• Your preferences are stored locally on your device only

What We Don't Do

• We do not create user profiles based on religious beliefs
• We do not track or analyze your religious preferences
• We do not share religious data with third parties for marketing
• We do not link your questions to any identifying information
• We do not store your questions or conversation history on our servers

How Data is Used

Since we don't collect your data, we don't "use" it in the traditional sense. Here's how data flows through the app:

• Your Device: Stores preferences locally to personalize responses
• Apple iCloud: Syncs subscription status across your devices (if you enable iCloud)
• Apple StoreKit: Processes subscription payments securely
• Google Gemini API: Processes your questions to generate AI responses

We do not: Analyze your data, create user profiles, sell data to third parties, use data for advertising, or track you across apps or websites.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All conversation history is stored locally on your device. We never store or have access to your conversations on our servers. Your questions and answers remain private to you.

iCloud Sync

Subscription status and usage data are synced via Apple's iCloud. This data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account, which we do not have access to. iCloud sync can be disabled in your device settings.

Third-Party Services

When you ask a question, your query is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. This data is transmitted securely via HTTPS. Google's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Google Gemini API

We use Google's Gemini API to process your questions and generate biblical responses. Your questions are sent to Google's servers for AI processing. Google may use this data according to their AI service terms and privacy policy.

Apple Services

• In-App Purchases: Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
• iCloud: Optional data sync via your iCloud account

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information because we don't collect or have access to it.

Data flows through third-party infrastructure:

• Google (AI Processing): Your questions are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. We act as a pass-through and do not store these questions.
• Apple (Payments & Sync): Subscription and sync data is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure.

We do not: Sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

Data Access and Deletion

Since all conversation data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Delete individual conversations within the app
• Clear all data by deleting the app
• Disable iCloud sync in app settings

Subscription Management

Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Subscription data is handled by Apple according to their privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

ProphecAI offers age-appropriate content for children. However, we recommend parental supervision for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Parents can control their child's use through Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing features.

International Users

ProphecAI is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using ProphecAI, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

Data Retention

Since we don't collect your data, we don't retain it. Data retention is controlled by you and third-party services:

• Local Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear data
• iCloud Data: Retained in your personal iCloud account; removed when you uninstall the app or disable iCloud sync
• Google Processing: Questions are processed temporarily and not stored long-term (per Google's privacy policy)
• Apple Subscriptions: Purchase history retained by Apple per their policies

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of ProphecAI after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
